But did you know that Jua Cali started rapping at the age of 10 which means, has been on it for 28 years now? He is also a motivational speaker.
In the year 2000, together with producer Clement Rapudo aka Clemo, they founded Calif Records where Jua Cali has remained for close to two decades now.
In 2007, he was listed among the 100 most influential artists in Kenya by a national newspaper.
And since his genre, Genge, has taken on a life of its own, it means that a chat with Jua Cali is a chat with the Genge encyclopedia; and that is exactly what happened on #Lit360 this week.
