Muki Rai Uses His Experiences As Inspiration

As an artist, of any art form, it is always important to understand the source of your art and what keeps that fire burning – basically what inspires you. When it comes to creating music it will help because you know where to turn when you want to get to it.

Muki Rai, a young rapper based in Kikuyu constituency draws his inspiration from his experiences. This is common for many artists all over the world, but it is nice to have a young rapper doing his thing in Swahili and a bit of Kikuyu. The fact that he uses these languages in his music is a demonstration of how he experiences life.
